What would the Pioneer equivalent of a Marantz 2220-2235 be, in terms of performance and/or price. Or any other comparable integrated amps/receivers from other brands. Basically I'm looking to upgrade for 300-400.

So with a portable DAC/AMP it doesn't matter what laptop sound card you have, right?   Right now I have a MisterX HP DAC/Amp and Denon D2k. Was thinking of upgrading the amp, but just wanted to make sure whatever I get won't be limited by whatever sound card is on my laptop.

I have a Markl modded pair of D2000s and just recently a little vibrating sound has developed when a song has really deep bass.
