    Sony Linkbuds S Impressions Thread

Uh well, I've got rather small ears so I might not even try the xm4s. You're confirming what I've read here already. I don't see another <$200 BT in-ear apart from the three mentioned that provide moderate to at least acceptable passive isolation.

    Sony Linkbuds S Impressions Thread

Hi all. I had to replace my Jabra Active 75T. I opted for the Linkbuds S. However, I found that, while the ANC is better, the basic sound isolation is a good bit weaker. Frequencies that the ANC cannot mask can still be annoying. I was wondering if you guys know about BT in-ears with better...

Long time Shure SE-215 user looking for alternative

Thanks but I'm actually muss less concerned with matching the sound of the SE-215 as I've never been too fond of it (too much bass and low mids for my taste). I used it for so long because of great isolation and being able to wear it over the ear. Thanks for mentioning the Fiio FH5. I've...

Long time Shure SE-215 user looking for alternative

Hi, for the past five years I've been using the Shure SE-215. Since it's now broken I'm looking for an alternative and would appreciate your advice. My requirements are: - Similar price range preferred but $300 max. - maximum isolation & seal - maximum comfort - low microphonics - over the ear...

Will This Be Called The Westone "Epic" Tip?

does anybody have an idea if the star tips will fit the nozzle of the rockit r50's? I don't own a westone IEM, only shure se215 and rockit r50. the nozzle of the rockit r50 is wider than the shure se215's. is the westone similar to the shure or the rockit?

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions

Quote:   yeah, I cut them off with no problems. helped quite a bit for the fit. however, I'm still having problems with the stock tips. they keep slipping out of the ear and thus prevent me from getting a good, permanent fit. can we perhaps compile a list of compatible tips for the R50's...

VSONIC VC1000 - new dual BA IEM - Info & expectations thread

Quote:   haha thanks- primus sucks!^^. my youth was all primus and claypool plus I play bass. alright, I didn't know the shure's were so different. thanks for pointing that out.   I tried to shootout the se-215 and the R50 with the same tips ( shure olives) and the se-215 gave me...

VSONIC VC1000 - new dual BA IEM - Info & expectations thread

Quote: really? I thought the se-215 and the 535 were basically built identically, just tuned differently? however, I can't be sure of that.

VSONIC VC1000 - new dual BA IEM - Info & expectations thread

thanks. I will probably do that as soon as I've decided whether I want to keep them or not - in order not to hurt resell value. however, even with bi- or triple flanges, I doubt the R50 will have better isoation than the shure se-215.
