Why does iBasso exlude the mW rating at their website? And why has Paul ignored my relevant question a few posts back? I need to know how many mW the dx200 sends into 300oHm from the standard unbalanced output.

Last week I bought a new cable for the HD600. Until recently I thought cables probably don't make a difference, but I went ahead anyway and bought silver cable, and wow! I thought, what the? How come I hear deeper bass, how come I hear wider soundstage, how come the treble sounds accurate now...

Is Sony WM1A better than X5 III?

Problem is the A5 battery time in and of itself is not much better than using the X5 III on its own, so you still have to fuss with recharging the A5 too. Whether you have to charge only one device often vs two, there's not much benefit. < my 2¢

After some combing I went and purchased the FiiO A5 amp, I noticed it has a lush clean sound. Does the AKG K712 match the HD600? Which do you think is better? Over at the FiiO thread (X5 III) I decided to wait for the X7 II, that should have the DAC sorted.

  I just thought that price equals performance, and the HD800s is the top among Senny.     My max budget will vary depending if I need to stretch it. 

What about the Sennheiser HD25-1 II? Some say this has a marvelous sound?

Thankyou. I'll wait for the next X7, because I don't like warm&smooth. In fact, I hate warm and smooth, reminds me of the AK70, yuk! I thought maybe the smoothness is due to the internal amp in the X5 III, but now you say it's the DAC, I will indeed wait for the X7 II.

  Are you saying the amp in the X5 III performs better than the external dedicated E12 amp? How can that be? The sound DEGRADED?? Would FiiO agree?
