There are a lot of cmoy on ebay. Some have special addition to them (I own BSG one with dual gain) with higher price or very basic with a pretty affordable price. 

In my opinion, any amp will help your music sound better, if not by a small amount. It is totally not necessary but nice if you have one.

I'm not sure if you bought your CMOY yet but I have used BSG Cmoy (on ebay) with good result. It has dual gain (I do not know of any other with that) so you can change between high or low depending on your headphone. It's worth checking out!   Mine is having some issues after not being used...

I got mine a few months back and I LOVE it!   The separation and clarity of music is unbelievable. My pads are old but still works decently.   Anyone know of an easy replacement pad for these? I think isolation may improve a bit with a newer pad.
