E-MU 0404 and Logitech Z-680
Thanks for a most clarifying reply! I guess I'll buy an optical cable as well, just to test it. One more question; the speaker cables that came with the Logitech system - is there much of a point in replacing them? If so, any recommendations for replacements?- Cirventhor

E-MU 0404 and Logitech Z-680
I'm setting up a seperate computer speaker system at the moment, and I find my Audigy 2 ZS less than satisfactory for music. So the intention is to buy an E-MU 0404. What I wonder, however, is how the best way of connecting this to the speakers I have is. I use only 2 speakers + sub on the...- Cirventhor

Best Songs with Drum Features
I love lots of Portnoy's work. A good example would be his drumming in Dream Theater's "The Dance Of Eternity".- Cirventhor

OK I switched foobar
Right, in Preferences -> General, check "Enqueue incoming files by default when adding from commandline" and "Always send to playlist" where you then specify which playlist you want the files to be put in.- Cirventhor

Favorite Pink Floyd Song!
Kinda impossible to pick just one, but I'll mention one not picked yet: "Echoes". Long song, and it just never fails to grab me even though it is 23 minutes long. "Have a Cigar", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and the whole Animals album are other favourites.- Cirventhor

Amp for HD650 & RS-1
I realize these phones are pretty much the opposite of each other. Nonetheless, I am looking for an amp that can power both phones very very well. Any suggestions? I was thinking of going for a Singlepower amp, but not sure how they go with Grado's. Can't go much higher than $1000 though...- Cirventhor

What song/album gave you your first eargasm.
Can't remember the first, but Nirvana's "Unplugged" CD is certainly one of them. Just picked up Miles Davis "Kind of Blue". Eargasm over and over again with this album.- Cirventhor

What are the versatile amps that can handle most headphones well?
The GS-1 is a pretty versatile amp, with a gain switch as well.- Cirventhor

HD650 "buzz"
Thanks for the replies guys. I've checked for hairs, and have removed what I've found. The buzzing haven't gone completely away though, so I suppose there's some hair stuck somewhere that I can't see. I'm a bit uncomfortable with messing too much with the diaphragm too, is it easily damaged?- Cirventhor
