CHIFI FREEDOM Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I did consider the King and King Pro, but the reason I got the Exclusive 5 instead of the King back then is that I felt the EX5 smaller housing felt more snug, when though I quite like King's SQ. Now knowing that both King and King Pro are heavy IEMs I wonder if I could wear them for extended...- ChrisNoob

How so? I really like the treble for Exclusive 5 and also the Series 4 (warmer but still acceptable), so I wonder whether the T2's treble would be too much for me?- ChrisNoob

The T2 did pique my interest though I wonder if it's heavy due to its metal construction. The only thing I don't like about my Exclusive 5 is that it's real heavy, and my ear canals get sore after a couple of hours of use.- ChrisNoob

CHIFI FREEDOM Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
My bag got stolen along with my TFZ Exclusive 5.... T^T so now I need a replacement for them. My budget is $50-$100, prefer something with detachable cables, over-ear fit, preferably small housing like the Exclusive series, and a balanced sound signature. Haven't really make up my mind whether I...- ChrisNoob

The Fragrant Zither (TFZ) Reviews and Impressions Thread
I've tried on the Series 5 and personally own the Ex5 and although both are comfortable, overall the Ex5 just feels more stable due to the smaller housing where the Series 5 feels a bit more loose. For a more neutral sound, the King is the choice though it's still not considered neutral like the...- ChrisNoob

The Fragrant Zither (TFZ) Reviews and Impressions Thread
I've only tried the later versions of zs5 but I would say quite similar in terms of brightness. However, the King is just overall more balanced and smooth compared to the zs5 with impressive details and clarity. I know that the zs5 is hyped a lot but personally I think it didn't really sound...- ChrisNoob

The Fragrant Zither (TFZ) Reviews and Impressions Thread
Not sure if you can still get the Series 5s since TFZ seems to be in the midst of replacing/redesigning them, but overall it has a very different tuning compared to the new TFZs that uses the newer dual magnets driver, where it's mostly an L shaped signature, with a very warm sound and prominent...- ChrisNoob

I only have the Exclusive 5 but it is similar to what you want. It has a metal casing (kinda similarly designed like the RHA ones), has a slight V-shaped sound, with detailed mids albeit recessed as compared to the other frequencies. Go read up some reviews of them, most of them I find quite...- ChrisNoob

The Fragrant Zither (TFZ) Reviews and Impressions Thread
Btw, I found that they share the same drivers. Below are some descriptions by the local distributor of TFZ at my country: "If you’ve poisoned by the gigantic 12mm Graphene driver of TFZ Exclusive King, don’t miss out the newly released Series 4 and My Love II which are also using the same...- ChrisNoob

The Fragrant Zither (TFZ) Reviews and Impressions Thread
I've only tried it out for about 15 minutes so I can't give detailed impressions, and I'm not as versed in audiophile terms since I'm still new to this hobby, but I can say detail and clarity is similar to the Exclusive series but with different tuning. I would try to audition them again if I'm...- ChrisNoob

Absolute best budget earbuds?
Hi, I'm currently interested of getting a budget earbud below $20 that is of a balanced sound signature, something that is on par or better than the Monk+ that I have. Thing is, the Monk+'s MX500 housing is slightly too big for me to wear comfortably for long periods of time, so is there any...- ChrisNoob
