Fully closed, personal use headphones <=£140
Thanks again for your reply, I'm really not sure where to go, I've also come across Denon AH-D600, on Amazon for £200 which seems to be the lowest I could find from a reputable distributor, and apparently an amp is not necessary to get the full potential from them, someone at the beginning of...- chris422

Fully closed, personal use headphones <=£140
Hi again, does anyone have any thoughts on the AKG K550s? I've come across these on Amazon and they're priced around 130 quid, down from 250, would these be a better purchase than say the DT 770s? I'll be sticking with the E07K even though I don't think these headphones need an amp to drive...- chris422

Thanks again for your reply, perhaps I am aiming too high for my first pair of phones lol! Quick question, does anyone know how the return service works on Amazon if I'm not satisfied with my purchases (say the DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm and a Fiio E07K)? I know I could sell but I don't want to lose...- chris422

Thanks for your reply, I had a quick look on Fiio's website for full technical specs, and it states that the max driver capability of the E07K is only 100Ω, or is this something different? The way I look it at, it will only be able to drive the 32Ω and the 80Ω models. Also, do you think there...- chris422

Thank you for your quick response! I do like a bit of bass but nothing overpowering, as I mentioned in my previous post I know little about this subject, and I'm just interested to see if people laugh at my choices, and see what others suggest. Thanks again.- chris422

Thank you for such a quick response! Have you any specific models of Sony or Denon that you would suggest? I had a quick look at those Sony MDR-CD2000 that you suggested, but they appear to be closed front, open back which I don't really want to go for as I will be in close proximity of people...- chris422

Fully closed, personal use headphones <=£140
Hi, This is my first post on this forum, and the automated message suggested I post here. I am looking for a pair of fully closed headphones that will mainly be used with my laptop (Macbook Air), phone (Galaxy S4) and perhaps with my TV for movies. I've considered the Beyerdynamic DT770...- chris422
