1More Triple Drivers: buggy remote, too much bass; other options?

Was excited to get my 1More Triple Drivers. Plug them into my iMac. Working away. They sound pretty good! A bit more clarity than my HiFiMan RE-400's. A tad more bass than I'd like, but so far so good. Then I accidentally tap the volume up on the remote... Volume ramps up to 100%. Almost shred...

1MORE Triple Driver IEM vs HiFiMAN RE-400?

Thanks for the tip! Price is almost double, which is ok if the build quality is there. But if I'm considering spending $200 that opens a whole new world of possibilities!

1MORE Triple Driver IEM vs HiFiMAN RE-400?

I'm on my second pair. The spot where the strain relief joins the housing is a major point of failure.   I've narrowed down my search to the 1More, RHA MA750 and Shozy Zero.   Can anyone compare those? I'm not a looking whichever of those is the closest to reference.

    Replacement for HiFiMAN RE-400

I remember really enjoying the JVC HA-FXT90's. Maybe the 100's are worth a gander. Not sure if that will be a step down in terms of sonics though, it's been a while.

    Replacement for HiFiMAN RE-400

I've had these bad boys for a while. Love the sound, but I'm on my second pair. These in-ears seem to have a pretty common point of failure: where the strain relief joins to the body. I really can't justify dropping another $80 on a pair that I know in 1.5-2 years will fail again.   What out...

Panasonic HJE120... terrible. What else to replace Monoprice 9927?

Thanks for the tip! How would you say the RE-400, GR07, and EPH-100 differ?

Panasonic HJE120... terrible. What else to replace Monoprice 9927?

I dunno got sucked in by reviews that over sold them *shrug*. I'm torn between the RE-400 and the VSD1s (or GR07 I guess)... I can't really audition them at the same time so I have to take a leap. My preferred cans at the moment are Beyer DT770 Pros (coming from ATH M50s) if that tells you...

Panasonic HJE120... terrible. What else to replace Monoprice 9927?

I don't know why people rave about these Panasonic's... they're terrible. Super boomy, splashy highs. The Monoprice earbuds were fairly natural I thought. I got them in a pinch to take over for my lost JVC FXT90s, and they performed really well. But mine are needing replacement, and while I...

A Concise View of Why The ATH-M50 is No Longer King

The Beyer DT770's bumped the M50's for me. The M50's always got uncomfortable fast, and something in the low mids just intensified the feeling of having your head in a vice.

Driving DT770 with a personal recorder

I use mine with my MacBook Pro and they're just fine. *shrug*

New Audio Technica ATH-M50x with Removable Cable

Wow these look great. Removable cable is great. Does anyone know if the earcups are the same as the original? Those only last for 2ish years before they start disintegrating.

Is HD 600 an upgrade over DT 990?

From what I remember, the Beyer's are flatter and more detailed. The 990's seemed so really present a soundstage. There's just something about Beyer's ingeneral that strikes me as natural, where Senns always sound hyped to me.

Miss my JVC HA-FXT90s... what now?

    HiFiMan RE-400's seem pretty infallible...
