Yay another person who games with these cans. In terms of gaming, soundstage is the most important. And if you can't game with open headphones, these have one of the best soundstages of closed headphones.

If there is a dent you could consider returning it.

What do you guys think of maybe doing the Pioneer BS21 or the BS41, going for $70 and $100 respectively. Would these be a big improvement over the daytons?

Never mind this post. I have been looking for the Swan M10s because they are highly recommended but it seems impossible to find them in the U.S.

I wonder if there is a decent speaker option to up the budget from the Daytons but not taking it over $100 including the $20 amp.   Also do you think I could split the modi to both the magni and the speak amp so I don't have to switch cords every time or would that just cause problems?

I've been looking into those but I wonder if they really aren't very good. If the reviews are correct and they are the best I can get under $100 then I suppose I will get them.

I think it does have an line out but its a 3.5mm line instead of a RCA output? Analog Input 3.5mm Analog Output 3.5mm   EDIT: I see those outputs are for the amp only. I am really more of a headphone guy but I think it makes a lot more sense to be able to use the DAC and the AMP...

The combo I'm looking at is both of them in one shell. No batteries. Also, what are the options for hooking up speakers to amps like these? Would you need a converter to plug the speakers into the headphone ports?

I know this thread is old but can some one comment on the O2+ODAC combo versus the Magni/Modi. I between a good black friday deal on the O2 ODAC combo and just buying the Magni/Modi.

But come on there was literally over 100 new posts in less than 24 hours...thats insane.
