just got my set in, replaced epro horn shaped tips, medium size, on thieaudio monarch mk3. was instant upgrade, no burn in time(lol), amazing fit and feel, comfortable in the extreme, and the sound is very noticeably more holographic and expansive. there are very large and obvious differences...

i haven't noticed any hum at all, but i've only used it with my thieaudio monarch mk3 and cayin ru7 dac. a hum could be caused by interactions between the unit and either your dac or transducer...or my setup could be removing the hum cuz i really don't have much equipment to test it with
