I'm in the MAXED WA6 camp. Just turning the 400 hr burn in mark. Also put in the 1955 philips miniwatt metal base GZ34 tube. Sounding GREAT!!!!- charlie1

Looking for best Dac/amp for ultrasone edition 9
I'm useing a Benchmark Dac1 usb with a maxed WA6 with my EDITION 9s and now that I have a little over 350 hrs burn in on the WOO, I'm loveing every bit of it. (don't forget that a 1955 MULLARD metal base GZ34 doesn't hurt) $$$$- charlie1

$2000 amp or amp/dac for Senn HD650
Now I've got a laptop as source to a BENCHMARK DAC1 USB to a RAPTOR and it is the best I've heard. That should be close to your price range. I would say try the MAXED WA6 but mine has not reached the performance of the RAPTOR yeat (and may not) It only has about 77 hrs burn in with stock tubes...- charlie1

Yust got my Maxed out WA6 today. I guss I'll start the burn in now. I am useing a laptop as source to a BENCHMARK DAC 1 USB thru JENA LABS FUGEU interconects. My power cord is a 18 awg neoteck occ copper in teflon. I'm useing the stock tubes for the burn in, Then I'll try one of the MULLARD...- charlie1
