What Are You Listening To Right Now?

This is so much better mastered than Californication and Stadium Arcadium it's a shame. DR over 10 on each track, plenty of space for instruments to be themselves

Welp, my journey on the head-fi hype train is done (assuming my LCDX doesn't spontaneously die somehow). The interface on the top is a Sound Devices USB Pre2, which has the same internal DAC and ADC as their renowned 702T portable recorder. I would have been done with that had this Sangaku not...

    Audeze LCD-X

This was based on the reviews user Torq gave on another headphone enthusiast website. At the time he was the only person I somewhat trust who had reviewed the units. That may have changed by now but I'm not sure since I haven't looked for reviews of the Ares and Pontus recently.

Gotta email Audeze and give them your S/N, they still have the pads for sale. They removed them form the storefront because so many people with M1060s were ordering them it was getting ridiculous.

Nice to hear your impressions are similar to mine. Vocals definitely shine on the Sangaku, especially sultry female jazz. Highly recommend listening to Strange Fruit by Nina Simone or Black Coffee by Ella Fitzgerald; those tracks completely blew me away.

    Caffeine addicts anonymous

Picked up some Blue Mountain coffee yesterday, definitely the most unique coffee I've ever had Struggled to pull a shot right in my espresso machine, took 3 tries, but it was worth tinkering around Serious dark chocolate vibes with a slightly buttery top end. Very smooth for a dark roast...
