Thanks guys, for sure I'll be back in with my impressions once it's here.

Well, to avoid the torture of decision-making, I've ordered my R-28. I'll put my 11.28 up for sale once it arrives, although I'm not planning to test the two against each other (I've made my purchase at this point, I'm sticking with it). Looking forward to it, and looking forward to hopefully...

Of course - I guess the answer is 'stupidity' and a period of feeling like I was getting nowhere with trying to find the sound I wanted. Due to having a small home and a young child, I had to really try and keep to using closed-back cans - and I tried A LOT. I listen primarily to dark ambient /...

Thank you @xenithon, that was exactly what I was after. I use Sonarworks, too, and I do find that it helps, but I guess I still prefer having a hardware combination that does the work for me, as it were. Again, I bought the 11.28 when I had no intention of buying the HD800, but a deal came up...

A very good question - thank you! I should have really mentioned that. So, I've previously owned the Master 11, and whilst my memories at this point are not perfect in describing its sound, I enjoyed the full sound that it provided with a wide range of headphones, and I also had the R2R-15...

Hmmm, I just don't know what to do. Some serious umm-ing and ah-ing has led me to recently changing my headphones back to the HD800 (stock), and these are being paired with the NFB-11.28 - which itself is only now around a month old. I bought the NFB first, and if I'd known I was going to get...

    Grado Fan Club!

Hello again, all! I find myself at yet ANOTHER crossroad! I think my GH-2 will be going up for sale... I received my brand new set after having the cracked cup in the previous set, but in the meantime, I picked up a set of SR80e, just to give me something to listen to... and I'm really...

:D :D Damn you, I was hoping everyone had forgotten that bit!! I should have known you'd remember! Haha, must have been a moment of madness - thinking I'd hold onto one set of cans! I really wouldn't consider myself a basshead though, pretty much the opposite. I felt the GSK1e was totally...

At the moment, purely because I KNOW that I'm happy with the GH-2 sound, I think I'll just get another of those. I do agree with the earlier views on the thread (I'm doing a long stretch of reading!!) that the GH-2 cups just aren't quite as nice looking as the 'traditional' flat cups on the...

OK, so I can return these now. I'll start the ball rolling on that. Just to satisfy a curiosity (and because I'm an idiot...), what would be the main sonic difference between the GH2 and the the RH2e? I know that they get a lot of love on here. Any thoughts? Cheers!

Thanks for the info! Now I'll have to wait and see what (if anything) I need to do with my GH-2's before deciding on buying anything else!

Thanks guys, I'll get in touch with the seller. It's only an issue in that I can't see how far down the cup beyond the grille the crack goes. It's not huge in terms of a gap, but it's just... meh. I don't know how likely it is that it would get any worse?

Uh, so I was just looking at the GH2 in the sunshine, and I noticed that the right hand wood cup has a crack all the way across from the grille to the outer side... Is this something that I need to be sending back for an exchange??? The other side is completely fine. What a bummer :-(

I need to pick some brains again! I've been looking at getting a pair of Alessandro MS-1e's to have a listen. They can obviously be picked up quite cheap, and I've got plenty of spare pads I can mess around with now. Any of you guys had any experience with them? I've read the MS-1 appreciation...
