I have a question
The resistor is soldered between pin 1 and 3 and 1 to ground. Pin 2 is soldered to the rca positive connection my question is how much voltage does it reduce and what ohm is it like what would be a suitable replacement you could get on Amazo? Thanks for at least answering- cavedave

I want to know what this is. A resistor with this written on it. Dale-m CMF55 1780 1%TI 0231 it is on the inside of a set of XLR to rca adapter. any input would be greatly appreciate. thanks- cavedave

Hey Jonathan Got me some adapters and am listening to a set of GE five star 5751 and they sound way better to my ears then the 12AU7s I have tried. Hello There every body. I just got a WA2 and wanted to confirm about 12AU7 tubes of which I have several can yes be used in the 6922 position and will work fine with an adapter. I see one on Amazon made by jemosa looks of decent quality can any one say yes and amen to any of this?- cavedave

Can’t send you a photo because I would have to take them apart to do that. There are photos of the inside of these headphones on the internet and the two wires are easy to see. As far as the main difference they are way smoother on top no harshness at all full sounding solid they sound now like...- cavedave

You were right the twenty to thirty mark makes a big difference. Made a home made balanced cable for my Senn hd600 using two stock cables pulled them apart braided the four parts together presto changeo new cable with eight conductors instead of four works great with this amp.
