Without knowing output at 23 ohm, it's hard to say. Officially 500mW@23ohm is recommended, which m8 can probably do.

Anyone willing to share EQ? I see there's been one measurement made available, but I'm not certain if I can use that to generate my own for Wavelet somehow

I really wanted it to be true, but as ASR notes in their review, not enough power for proper sub-bass response. I can confirm, with the slightly more powerful NX7 I can hear issues on the new Hudson Mohawke album. Switched back to my Ampersand and all is well. Hopefully someday!

I tried those, they don't fit the ear cups tightly and sort of have 'slack' around the edges. IIRC they also rotated a little after some time as they're too big to be completely secured

I have - I would, and did, choose Ampersand. In spite of this specs, the Diablo can only output 1.4W at low impedance. And, strangely, it has to be on the SE connection. The balanced connection will trigger protection circuit at high output. The Ampersand will do this, too, but around 2.2W...

None; there are no headphones I'm aware of which require more power than the A90 can produce, especially at distortion FAR beyond audible levels. If $1k is burning a hole in your pocket, another/different set of headphones is a better choice.

This typically indicates the Qudelix doesn't have adequate power for your needs. What headphones do you use?
