I am going to look into both the MS2's and the 225s. I find myself wondering about the 325's as well. They certainly are distinctive aesthetically. It seems as though no one really recommends them? Why? I spoke with my wife and I think she can handle $200 - $300. She laughed when I told her...- Carnecerro

Did you guys just miss the spot where I said, LIE TO ME! Damn. I was afraid of this. Lmilhan's timeline looks frighteningly accurate, though. Well, looks like I am off to TTVJ to check out Grado pricing. My wife is going to kill me.- Carnecerro

Grado, Head-fi..I give in.
Okay, I get it now. I have some okay headphones. Some DT770's, E2c's, UM1's and a set of SR80's. I've never really understood the mindset of spending $1000s on headphones. Profanity(cussword)
I used to think I was about a 8 or 9. Then I met my neighbor. He is a 65 year old retired Master Chief. I'd say I am about a 3 in comparison. Sometimes I'll go over to his garage, bring a couple of beers, and just listen to him curse at his lawnmower. Very entertaining.- Carnecerro

Portable Amp Suggestion
I assume you are referring to Meier's issues with Headphonia when you say "best of times" I'll read up on the porta but I would probably wait and see how that issue is resolved before buying.- Carnecerro

Portable Amp Suggestion
Skylab's portable amp review was very helpful. It was that review that gave me the idea for the iBasso T1. I just wanted to hear some other opinions of those that own a setup similar to mine. I will check out the Xin as well now. Thanks, guys.- Carnecerro

Portable Amp Suggestion
I need some help pairing an amp with 1st gen Nano and my new UM1's which will be arriving tomorrow. I am planning on getting a cryodock from ALO and just need some suggestions on what amp might work well with this combo. I have looked at the iBasso T1 and love the look and size. I would like to...- Carnecerro

what are you drinking right now..
Right now, coffee. This evening, depending on my mood, I will either have some Bernheim or maybe crack open my Lagavulin 16 year and see where the evening takes me.- Carnecerro
