@Redcarmoose Ps. there are many Type-C dongles that use the CX31993 DAC chip, but precious few manufacturers understand how to fully unlock its potential; an ex. is the Tiandirenhe Conexant CX31993+max97220 Type C DAC, it uses the same dual chip as OS133 DAC, yet the results are undeniably...- carliber1

@Redcarmoose It is no small matter when synergy is found with an IEM and its ancillary components, apparently Neo 5/CS02 for example. Totem DAC, if thoroughly aged, will beautifully handle nuances, dynamics, and exhibit high-level refinement; nice to have the cable though, indeed. I'm not...- carliber1

@Redcarmoose I had a hunch CS02+EW200 might be a good match but it was not to be; from what I've read, it seem to have a certain sonic allure, hence my original question. I happen to have a modest, varied collection of cables, Type-C DAC dongles --collectively, my sound tuners. I've since tested...- carliber1

@Redcarmoose, Thanks man for testing CS02 paired with the EW200, and for suggesting the LC7 as a good option. Very interesting your detailed observations and deduction in testing the CS02 this time around, I am glad I asked. I will certainly pickup the LC7 for one of my fave IEM.- carliber1

Thanks for your review. Question: any idea how good (or not) EW200 might pair with ISN CSO2 cable? Too bad the CS02 was not one of the cables tested, besides Penon's Space Vocal and Bass.- carliber1

Thanks for introducing me to the JD7; I think you mentioned it elsewhere in a review of FD11 and encouraged another to see your review of JD7 on head-fi. Actually, I had never heard of the model but liked what you said about it. A month later and I am a happy owner of the JD7; it sounds sooo...- carliber1

Interesting review, FD11 sounds like it would be suitable for Jazz too. I am inclined to think so since it shares the same driver technology with FiiO's FF5 earbuds --but tuned differently.- carliber1

Yours is a good review, thanks! In your Verdict, you mentioned that you have 2 Yuan Li: OG and the limited edition Dark Soul. Question: how do they differ soundwise? which is your preference of these two?- carliber1

@OspreyAndy I probably didn't explain clearly enough, I meant the following: it was easy enough creating my playlist in the HiBy app, now what actual proceedure enables me to listen to the playlists I created? This latter is the part that isn't as intuitive.- carliber1

@tubbymuc I own the UAPP app, its a good app but sounds more warm (albeit needlessly so) than HiBy Music app which sounds neutral to me - I do not use Eq. Just the same, thanks man!- carliber1
