Schiit Magni Headphone Amplifier
I just got my Magni in the mail. I also have a FiiO E10- is it possible for me to connect these two, or does the fact that the E10 is a DAC+amp make them incompatible? Also, is there any way that I can use the Magni on its own, or will I have to get a Modi /other standalone DAC to use it?- cardern

This Schiit is Bananas! $99 Schiit Magni Amp and $99 Modi DAC
With a FiiO E10 and Grado SR60's + Sennheiser HD555's currently, would a Magni offer me much noticeable improvement? Should I get that alone, or also a Modi, or neither given my two pairs of headphones?- cardern

Grado SR60i problem- How to fix?
Whew. I got it working again! Thanks for all of the help, GREQ On my first attempt this morning, the plastic sleeve got caught somewhere after I finished soldering and was putting it together, and I pulled too hard trying to get the cover completely on and the connection points snapped. So I...- cardern

Grado SR60i problem- How to fix?
Quote: Thank you for your help so far. Here's where I'm at: http://i.imgur.com/sTMkS.jpg It looks like there are actually 2 grounding wires, how will that affect the process? It was a bear getting the black cord off with those wires still intact and you can see that I nicked one of...- cardern

Grado SR60i problem- How to fix?
Quote: Do I have to cut off the entire top of the grado cable? What are the other 2 parts for? The new jack doesn't really fit into that other part, and I have no idea what the plastic thing is for. I feel like I should seek assistance somewhere...- cardern

Grado SR60i problem- How to fix?
Quote: Awesome, thanks :) I do not have any experience with repairs, do you have any resources that you could recommend? I think the cost would be $25 + shipping if i ended up sending them to Grado. So not too terrible, but given the original price of the headphones not cheap either.- cardern

Grado SR60i problem- How to fix?
Hi, I've had a pair of SR60i's for about two years and love them. Recently, though, the tip came off the jack. I tried glueing it back on with a small dab of superglue, but the left earpiece seems to cut in and out based on the rotation of the jack now. I don't think soldering would be an option...- cardern
