I have a similar strategy. My primary audio sources are my turntable and Pono. When listening, Pono runs off battery, and once I have finished listening I plug it into the charger until it is fully charged... then unplug the charger. I also make sure it is always shutdown. Hi L8MDL... that's exactly what I am doing for my external card :wink: I'm referring to the Pono's *internal* 64Gb storage. You can only add files to that by connecting the Pono... and that's where the problems start.- captainsemtex
