    Hello, need some connectivity help

@chesebert I thought the udac 3 was easy enough to power with just the ipad pro. If I have the add power to it externally then the whole set up is so unwieldy..... :( @m-i-c-k-e-y Again, if I have to use a powered hub then it would mean it would be so unwieldy, I got this DAC for the very...

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)

@artpiggo Hi, I got the monk plus earphones. While I have to say the quality of the sound is great, the volume levels are still quite low. I tried with spotify, amazon music and some flacs via HibyMusic. My question is this - is there something I am missing in terms of settings etc? Just a...

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)

@oliwek2 Moto g6 plus is the new phone that I have got. I am not a bass guy, it is the mids that are my cup of tea. Have never listened to a grado before but have always wanted to own one !! 60e or 80e is what I am considering though I am not getting them in stock out here!

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)

@artpiggo I dont get what you mean by - "but can you always conveniently bring that up in daily life and listen in coffee shop?" I need to keep an eye out for that cable. Is ve monk a cable? I can try and get my hands on that - I have had success with ali (at least most of the times :D )

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)

@artpiggo So that could be why my 202 is behaving so badly? What additional hardware would I need in that case? I am eyeing massdrop 6xx which is a steal from what I hear. But I am not sure now if my phone can be a worthy source!

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)

@sorieno Thanks for the information! @artpiggo That is a good recommendation - it is on my notification list (one of our local dealers in India is out of stock with the 60e and the 80e) Just one question out of my "noob"ness - the phone in question, moto g6 plus, can drive these headphones...

@artpiggo Thanks for that but I would rather have headphones compared to in-ear, any recommendations in that dept?
