My Sigur-Ros () is an HDCD title - which is successfully decoded as HDCD within Windows Media Player, my Onix XCD-88, as well as my NAD C-542. The CD appears to have been created in the U.S. and the bar code is 088 113 091-2.- cannedheat

Still using a MD deck?
It amazes me that Sony had not released an HiMD deck (as well as Sharp and Denon), as a separate, true deck component. I have basically given up on MD now, in part because of this omission. No way I am going to pay over $450 USD for a format that has so little support in the States, and appears...- cannedheat
