Newly getting into the budget audiophile IEM scene. I've been a fan of music for many years. I can't see myself getting into the high-end stuff as I think better price-to-performance ratio can be achieved. I'm a believer one should not have to spend the price of a used car to have a beautiful, detailed immersive experience.

My ideal sound signature is elevated subbass and midbass with a subbass skew, clean and not overly recessed mids (though I can handle some recession as long as it doesn't sound too thin or harsh), and clear highs with elevated upper treble. I am hoping to find the most immersive IEMs in my price range. Soundstage depth is even more important to me than width; I hope to someday find a large 3D, holographic presentation with the sound signature I love and a good sense of air and detail retrieval.

My tastes vary, but you'll most often find me listening to Indie, Indie Rock and Alt-Rock, Britpop, New Wave, 70s-00s Rock/Pop. I quite enjoy some Shoegaze, Triphop and Bossa as well.
