I've had my FA-1 since release and have loved every bit of them, but they arrived with a very loose mmcx port on the left earphone which is becoming a very big problem (earphone falling while walking etc.). Does fiio offer warranty on purchases made through their official Aliexpress store?

A more modern / sharper design would be a welcome change.

The Oppo HA-2, or some of fiio's new dacs are very cost effective, and a good starting point.

I'd suggest the audio technica MSR-7 / MSR-7B. The build quality is less than that of 800 dollar headphones, but I think the sound would be just what you are looking for.

Yes lol. Most cables come apart at the terminations, but the fiio manages not to fray or get too stiff.

The lc-3.5b is single ended. It's a great great cable overall (It's withstood hours in -40), but the earhooks canabn annoying at times.

Fiio's AliExpress store is pretty good if you don't mind the shipping times (which will be especially long because of the Chinese New year).
