    Philips Fidelio X3

They are very good sounding with a wide stage and great stereo separation, I still enjoy listening to them. Just pray you never need Philips for any customer service. I have still never received a response for my cable issue...

    Philips Fidelio X3

No problem at all friend! I really like the way this headphone sounds, I had the X2 (twice) but returned them because they felt heavy to me. The X3 is lighter and I think sounds better but that cable is killing me. Most everyone rashes on that cable but I'm glad it works for you. I wish both...

What do you have a remote to control volume? Your obviously far from your source\controls if you need a cable that long! Your the first person that's said anything positive about the cable. I tried the management clip and it still isn't working for me. I'm right next to my amps.

I think they should make and send out a new, shorter cable to those who purchased this hp! Who the hell needs a cable this long? And the connection issues are just embarrassing... Sound is fantastic...too bad.

    Philips Fidelio X3

I unfortunately have to agree. What's really irritating is Philips didn't even respond (beyond the automatic responses) to my concerns with the connector. I even told them I was a member here and no one from Philips ever got back to me. Too bad because it's a fantastic sounding headphone.

So... I've been mostly listening to my Philips Fidelio X3's and thoroughly enjoying them. Listening with an old skool NAD CD player, Maverick Audio DAC and Monolith amp (Raytheon 6080 & Photon drivers). Really enjoy this system but today I grabbed my Superlux HD672 that I paid maybe 40 bucks for...

    Philips Fidelio X3

No grain here. I'm using a NAD C542 as source feeding my Maverick Audio DAC in return feeding a Monoprice Monolith amp (77' Ratheon 6080, Photon drivers). Sound is actually quite impressive and I'm a recovering audiophile! Bass is clean, great texture to the mids and clear grain free highs on...

So, just as I thought, the cable has been giving me issue's lately! I have emailed Philips now lets see what the customer service is like... The cable is awful on these btw, way too long and the termination of the cable vs the adaptor is embarrassing to look at! Superlux does a better job...

I accidently left my MT-602 on after a quick listening session and came back into the room to shut some shades for the night and noticed it on as well as my SMSL SU-8 DAC. Couldn't help a quick listen and was surprised to hear better more defined bass and overall it honestly seemed to sound...

Monolith by Monoprice Tube Headphone Amplifier with ESS Sabre DAC (29511)

dpump ~ do you feel replacing the caps improved and\or changed the sound signature? I use an old 1967 Raytheon 6080 and pair of 1960 Foton 6N3P drivers, sound is very good, this amp has some power and drives all my cans without issue. I would really like to have the headphone jack replaced as...

Monolith by Monoprice Tube Headphone Amplifier with ESS Sabre DAC (29511)

Wow... sad story about your amp! I buy most items through Amazon only because of the return policy. This is a really nice amp but it has its limits. I hate the fact it has an internal DAC but only does USB, why no optical or SPDIF? I like using a cd player as a transport and feeding an external...
