I'm putting a small TA-2020 20Wx2 amp in my boat. I'm not sure if 6.5" or 6x9" would be better if I'm only installing 2 speakers. Which do you guys reckon will sound best and do you have any recommendations on what brand or model speakers to get below $200.

I've installed JRiver 16 and have the Perfectwave DAC playing songs through. When I play a song it will play fine then JRiver will freeze permanently when the song is about 5 seconds from finishing. Also when I play 24bit songs the PWD only plays them as 16bit. I have re-installed JRiver twice...

It's so hard deciding on a DAC that I've never heard before. I've got my Apex Peak still sitting in it's box and have only heard my Audeze LCD-2 through my Sony receiver. It doesn't have RCA out for sound so I'm patiently waiting for a DAC.   I did decide to wait for the Audio-GD Reference...

Is there much chance of it being fake? My biggest concern is paying that much for something that could be fake and me being new to this audiophile world I wouldn't know the difference.   Could them changing the power supply possibly make the DAC sound worse?
