Better than your DT 880s? (in your sig).  880s are known to be pretty darn good for gaming, so if these are better positional-audio wise that's quite the accomplishment, especially because these have a nice lower end too. Quote:

To all the owners that have both the D7000 AND the Pro 900, do any of you guys know how the D5000 might slot in with the other two cans?  Just curious, since the D7000 is a little bit out of the Pro 900's price range.

At school - I consistently see one guy with Shure750DJs walking around, not always listening to them though.  Other then that lots of Beats - mostly Solos and Studios, some of the iems too (tours?).  Some of those colorful Panasonic phones you can get at Urban Outfitters, some earbuds and a lot...

I'm glad these phones seem to be working out for most of the people that ordered them.  I have to admit I"m a little disappointed by the reports of just average soundstage and imaging though; has anyone tried them with gaming yet?  Seems like they'd be just average...but who knows Still...
