These headphones are amazing right out of the box. I just always want more. From my listening notes, removing the grill cloth with stock pads is a downgrade. If you add ZMF Ori Pads though, it's an upgrade.- bullbuchanan

Beau, If I had to guess I'd say at this pricepoint and given the variety of small build issues people are seeing, I'd say it's possible that there's a difference in various sets of cans. Ok, just did the foam setup. Hobby Lobby only had 0.45 cm thickness so I used one layer of that. How does it sound? Well, awesome. It sounds awesome. What's the foam material that folks are using? I would say every mod I've done on these so far has been a side-grade from stock, at best.
