The difference is subtle but it is there. I have been playing IEM for couple of years and definately can hear the difference of each cable. Some similar, some is quite different. As for HEDDphone, the Lavricable and Toxic silver cable and the orginal cable I owned are all different.

Great! Look forward to your test result. Apart from IEM, hope some hard to drive headphone like Susvara or HEDDphone can also be tested. Will try to google the spec of SA1 now.

HEDDphone need lots of power. I am using C3X balanced with 7.5W per channel. With this power, the subbass is very detail and really really good. Not sure if RME have enough power to drive to this level.

I think you can fix it with a leather strap like mine. I brought it from ebay.

If not for the fitting issue, I would go for SS2590 too. Right now happy using SS3502 I am using SS3602x4 on my C3X, great improvement already. Look forward to you SS2590.

I would like to change the SMPS to LPS for my Conductor 3X. Can any one let me know what is the DC cord connector dimension? I mean the outer ring diameter and inner ring diamter of the circular connector that plug to the unit. I don't have a proper instrument to measure it. Thanks!
