I’m very interested in your Lyr 3. Is it still available? What would be the shipping cost to the US? Thanks- brookbri

Rupert Neve Designs Announces The RNHP: Precision Headphone Amplifier
Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the stage size of the RNHP compared to other headphone amps, as I don’t have any other amps. With the Meanwell/DC purifier combo, I get very solid imaging and a black, noiseless background. I also have the volume turned up full on the RNHP and use the remote...- brookbri

Never used my dc purifier with the stock PSU. My Meanwell is 24V, 1.04A. I use RNHP with a Schiit Bifrost 2/64, and Focal Clear MG. Fantastic sound.- brookbri

Not sure if 1 or 2. There was only one available when I bought it a few years ago. I use it with a Meanwell PSU that can provide higher amperage than the stock PSU. Still working great, and from what I remember, better bass and dynamics than stock. Also, dead silent.- brookbri

I’ve used mine first with Hifiman Edition X and now with Focal Clear Mg. Both high efficiency, low impedance with excellent sound. The popping is annoying. I just keep my amp on all of the time. It also sounds better when it is stable and warm.- brookbri

Yes, 24/7, 365. To me it is more detailed and dynamic when warm or in a steady state- brookbri

I’ve been using it for probably about 3 years now. I leave it on all of the time. The DC purifier gets warm. No issues at all. Always sounds great with my Hifiman Edition X!!!- brookbri

I use my RNHP with Hifiman Edition X’s and get plenty of detail. Could be if you use planars they need to be higher efficiency?- brookbri

Using a Meanwell 25v 1amp power supply with an Ifi dc purifier. Dead silent. Better dynamics and bass than the stock walwart. Previous discussion of power supplies on pages 13-15. Love the amp, leave it on all of the time with no issues other than the Dc purifier gets warm.- brookbri

Hifiman Edition X
I have a Hex v1 and put v2 pads on. It has been awhile, so I don’t remember much of the specifics, but it was significantly better. I do remember thinking it was definitely a cost effective purchase. I also use a Rupert Neve headphone amp, and have been extremely happy- brookbri

The amp will make some noise on shutdown and I think also on powering up. I believe the official recommendation from Rupert Neve is to disconnect your headphones before shut off and don’t reconnect them until after power up. Or you can leave the amp on all of time as I do.- brookbri
