I raised this 18 months ago and the answer was there’s nothing can be done, the battery on mine is awful and it really does detract from my enjoyment of the performance of the device. You can’t use it if it’s plugged in and charging as it gets incredibly hot so not much use for sustained periods...

Yes I do but it’s frustrating given the battery life’s that devices are capable of nowadays

Much as I love the sound, it’s pretty useless for travel listening

Yes, it’s actually quite ridiculous, if you just let it play it will last about 7 hours but use the controls for anything and you can watch it disappear in front of your eyes! Would have thought they could do something about it......software update?

Hi, just taken delivery of my A&K SR 15 and while I’m delighted with look, sound and UI I am concerned about the battery life. Does anybody know if it will improve when it is ‘burned in’?
