How do comfort and isolation compare between the stock pads and the Shure pads?

I would recommend either the NAD Viso HP50's, the AKG K545's, and the Focal Spirit Professionals. I currently own the K545's if you have any questions about them. 

Tibwolf, I had very similar thoughts when I first got my 545's. They felt too shallow and uncomfortable. Over time, however, I have found that the issue slowly dissolves away and they adapt to you comfortably.

I've had the K545's for a few weeks now and I've decided that I'm just gonna have to order the hm5 pads, comfort has been too much of an issue. This is my first time ever changing the pads on headphones, so I had a few questions if somebody wouldn't mind helping me out: 1. Is it a difficult...

Mine just came in today, got 'em from Razordog and they are in perfect condition! I'll probably write a review up after spending a decent amount of time with them, but I can surely say that so far they sound great!

I also ordered mine from razordog, so I am officially worried that my pair is gonna be defective. It sounds like it's been a common issue (there were people complaining about this earlier in the thread), has anyone gotten a working pair from them??

Just ordered my K545's from razordogaudio, nervous anticipation!! :) This will be my first pair of headphones costing more than $100, woo!

I've been following this thread for quite a while and what I'm wondering is, which headphone ends up having the more neutral sound, the hp50 or the 545? Also, how do they compare in isolation?

I would second what he said ^^^ another really nice pair that just came out would be the AKG K545, I would recommend checking those out.

I second the UE6000 vote. They are way cheaper than your $200 budget, but do just as well, if not better, than the other headphones sitting in the $200 range. Comfy, good sound, good isolation.

Actually, after looking into all the headphones further, I'm much more interested in the K545's now. So I'm stuck between that and the Focal Spirit Pro. I'd be excited if you chose either of those. :)
