Looking for a new Amp/DAC for my HD650's to replace Fiio E7/E9 - On a budget
Honestly didn't even consider an E17k because I kept thinking I needed an amp like my E9 or a T1.- Boyiee

Looking for a new Amp/DAC for my HD650's to replace Fiio E7/E9 - On a budget
Basically I'm looking for an Upgrade or at least a very comparable sidegrade to my old Fiio E7+E9 that are on their last legs. I don't know if I can put out the 240-280 for the O2+ODAC. Sadly my 650's are being used mostly for gaming these days with some occasional music but not as much as...- Boyiee

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I meant E7/E9 combo actually from my earlier post, not sure why I typed e5. As for how much I'm willing to spend, I don't have a set price yet. I would just like to see what immediate and noticeable upgrades are available for under 1k, but several options at different price points.- Boyiee

So I'm still loving my HD-650's, but wondering where to go next purchase-wise. Currently I'm running stock 650's with the good drivers out of an E5/E9 combo. I know the next upgrade is probably the amp, but what direction should I go with this and what would be the appropriate next step for me?- Boyiee

Quote: I completely forgot my Filco keyboard came with velcro for the cord. I turned it inside out so it doesn't stick to my shirt, folded it, and clipped the mic to the velcro. Its so loose on the cord of the HD650 that I can spin and rotate it with no problem, and it really doesn't move...- Boyiee

Does anyone know if its safe to clip a zalman mic to the HD650 cable? It doesn't seem to cause much stress on the cable or pinch it at all, but I'd like opinions anyway.- Boyiee

Just passing 30 hours now of burn in with slightly above comfortable/tolerable listening levels playing a huge variety of music. They already sound better, should I continue this for another couple days? Should I be more specific on the music I'm playing? As mentioned its pretty much...- Boyiee

Thank you. I'll wait till after my burn in period before I start screwing around. There should be enough bass, vocals, and highs mixed in within this playlist to get them where I want.- Boyiee

My 650's just came in today! Have them in their box (partially opened) playing a lossless playlist of ~1,050 songs of all varieties at just above tolerable listening levels. Pretty much all of the Pink Floyd, Metallica (including S&M), Weezer, Coldplay, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, Fall out...- Boyiee

This happened a couple months ago with ps3's. There was some mistake on the price shown and they did not honor it. Orders got cancelled and refunded. Goodluck though would be cool if honored.- Boyiee

Headphone Stands
Did you use a PVC joint or cut a 45 degree angle in 2 pieces? I see a lot that look like they are jointed as they have seams but are flush- Boyiee

Sorry to bump! I just bought some PVC and wood, spent about 12$. I'm looking to either make an elbow or "L" shape like these seen on the forums: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1046/930707343_e5fe1ae09d.jpg and http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa118/grey_massacre/stand.jpg or a "T"...- Boyiee
