You should also take into consideration the cables coming out of the back. I couldn't find a lot about that, they are basically Tyco TE Connectivity circular plastic connectors with wire harness strain relief, but they add another couple of inches coming out of the back of the systems. You...

Yeah it puts out lots of BTUs.  Will probably put a fan in the back.  I had to put it in here doe to space constraints.  I only run it with the front sliding door open.

I just got my BHSE and when i listen to it with the SR-009 it is like liquid gold is being poured into my ears.  I am waiting for my analog phono to show up, but so far it is already superlative.

Though this looks like a dead thread, I am going to be testing out the Benchmark DAC3 L (coming in at 2k$) when my BHSE arrives.   I would be curious to see how the Berkeley Labs Alpha DAC Reference Series 2 would perform (coming in at 5k$).
