Forza AudioWorks Impressions Thread
I decided to join the club of Forza Audioworks cable owners. IEM cable extension arrived just few minutes ago, but oh man! The craftmanship and used materials are absolutely gorgeous! 🥰 I plan to test the sound later, just checked if all works well, but I know right now that I will not be...- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue D
I didn't tested bigger than 128GB card yet, so I have no idea how it is with bigger cards. Just don't forget to the limitation of how many files can player manage. Plenue D had file count limit afaik around 12k files if I remember it correctly.- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue D
So we have at least two versions of Plenue D PCB's, as I see "Plenue_D Ver 2.0" label on the board. Not just the hidden slot, but also the layout of the board is slightly different, interesting.- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue R2
Huh, I didn't heard about such operations with Cowon Players. AFAIK internal structure is one board with all chips soldered on it. Maybe with knowledge and suitable equipment it can be done, but problem would be also on the firmware side.- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue D
imho the Sony NW WM1A is not the case, even used one is still a bit pricey (comparing with Plenue D's) and also WM1A is a big and heavy. even my Sony ZX300 is big in pocket for my taste. Cowon perfectly nailed it with PD's, You will strugle to find something similar in their price range...- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue R2
Oh Yeah, I understand You, Sony sound signature is lovely. WM1A was my dream but then I suddenly crashed to ZX300 and I decided to stay with it. Flagship is too demanding for me (money and headphones). I hope too for Cowon to stay in bussines, love their JetEffect EQ, design phylosophy, clean...- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue R2
Nope, I just checked their site after almost half a year and no new DAPs ahead. I'm not sure how long is PD3 out, but I don't like it much (rotating volume knob instead of buttons, must be worse to handle in pocket I guess? ). Right now I'm thinking about to buy R2, but I can't decide, my old...- Boldricus

Cowon Plenue D
I'm a bit puzzled by D3 now. Thinking about to buy it, but i'm not fan of that wheel volume control. Buttons are better solution for pocket usage imho. So has someone tested both D2 and D3? Is D3 real improvement from D2?- Boldricus
