You should check out music by The Cure. Also, I think the blues is great! I find the blues depressing in a more satisfying way than "normal" depressing music.

I'm not expecting too much from these headphones... they're probably overpriced and only slighty better (if at all) than the original iPod earphones, which I own and am not amazed by. At least these might be more confortable, though.

hmmm... I wouldn't think that taking it apart is a good idea--that panasonic pot. seems to be made rather cheaply. Maybe you could find some way to rearrange things so that you can fit it in normally. When I made mine I mounted the panel components before putting the board in.

That's exactly what happened. The package had an "expected delivery date" of Jan. 6, but arrived early. So I guess they're just delivering it when I should've expeced it! Unfortunately, I don't like UPS's logic and have chosen priority mail and FedEx for a while now... I recomend that others...

Ha, my pads are dark green too! But, after 6 years of using the Sr-60s, I can't really complain. I think sunlight fades the pads after a while or something. Anyway, you could try cleaning your 'phones with eyeglasses cleaner.. it's pretty mild yet still gets the job done.
