DIY Earbuds
Vido flatheads are a little glued so you would have to be careful as I have easily damaged the thin voicecoil wire while opening (twice, on two separate occasions on two separate buds). My advice, if you choose to risk the damage, is to open them slowly and try to carefully wedge something (non...- BobBeats

The power of the sleep bud is mine. GOD-tier comfort: the stem sits well in my human ears and the earphones are light weight. My first impressions are that the tone is good. Tracks are conjested: be forwarned this is not a detail bud. It is like listening to my favorite radio, that keeps...- BobBeats

Earbuds Round-Up
My Qian69 came just came in from aliexpress.com/item/1005002275229979.html I ordered on the May 22 the moment I seen them. They sound around the price point and fit well enough. Good warmth and nothing seems out of place tone wise. Mids are on the thicker side. Nothing sounds fatiguing or overly...- BobBeats

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
B-7000 epoxy resin adhesive seems like a good choice. The solvents used are odorous, so a well vented area is a must. It is recommended to wear nitrile gloves. Completely cures after about 24 to 48 hours. Once cured, should be completely safe.- BobBeats

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
I think superglue AKA cyanoacrylate glue is pretty common (might need to use a toothpick to apply). A two part epoxy curing adhesive and that IEM is never coming apart again.- BobBeats

Female vocals galore. K's logo is on the right earphone. Great sounding bud. The 105±3dB/mW Sensitivity needs power, the drivers can sound weird without enough power (or could be from metal plug contact material --spitballing). Shows off shimmer on cymbals.- BobBeats

These sound good for the price. Relaxed enough sound: not too bright or too dark, not too lacking bass but maybe bass detail. Fit comfortably for me which is surprising for the materials, lighter than metal build would suggest. The chin slider was a nice surprise. I got the EB2S for the metallic...- BobBeats

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
I just got the Moondrop Chu in and it sounds good (great for the money) . . . --RANT-- But the cable is horrible and the weird ear hooks just add to the misery because they don't do enough against the cable shape, but at least render them usable. The attached cable is negative value: it would...- BobBeats

Mark me a believer, the 500 mesh + Sony General Foam mod worked well to soften up the sound in a way that makes it sound a bit more natural and fuller than the FR graph changes from stock would suggest: like putting sheets up for room speakers. The mod doesn't seem to affect detail in a negative...- BobBeats
