Sennheiser HD 598 CS Closed Back
I have the HD 380 Pro and the Beyerdynamic Dt 770 Pro 80 Ohm, and I find the DT 770's are superior in build quality and sound. You might consider Beyerdynamic Custom One Plus, which are pretty much a DT 770 32 Ohm with detachable cable.- BMARKB1963

Sennheiser HD 598 CS Closed Back
Right now on amazon.ca they are both listed for the same price of $199.99 CAD. Makes one wonder why didn't Sennheiser release the 598Cs as the HD 569 and a year from now release the HD 599 SE and the HD 599 Cs?- BMARKB1963

Sennheiser HD 598 CS Closed Back
The images for the HD 569 and the HD 598 Cs show they are different. The headband for the HD 598 Cs looks exactly the same as the HD 599!- BMARKB1963

Looking to upgrade from HD380 Pro...
I am looking to buy a better pair of over ear headphones than the HD380 Pro (which I have owned for a year & a half now) on Black Friday 2016. I have the matrix m-stage dac & the matrix m-stage hpa. I listen mostly to rock, blues, r&b, jazz, and edm. A fair amount of my collection includes...- BMARKB1963

Reply to review by 'bmarkb1963' on item 'FiiO X1 Ultraportable Hi-Res DAP'
TY! I have been considering buying a DAP for awhile now, and wasn't sure if I should spend the extra $ (given the lousy exchange rate on $CDN) for a X3g2 or the X1.- BMARKB1963

Best OPAMP upgrade for the Matrix M-Stage
Ahhh.... TY. I would guess, that being on an adaptor makes it easier to swap out for comparisons sake. Say I had both the LME49710 & OPA627AP.- BMARKB1963

Best OPAMP upgrade for the Matrix M-Stage
TY for sharing this info. However, I do have a question... What is the difference between the one your link shows on soic & another that is listed on dip? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2-pcs-LME49710HA-Adaptor-/171079253279? Oh, also do you know if I need SAE or Metric Allen Key to remove the...- BMARKB1963

Best OPAMP upgrade for the Matrix M-Stage
Thank you for letting me know that I definitely should not get the OPA637BP. Seeing it was the most expensive of them all, I was figuring it to be the better option. hmmm... I need to figure out how to properly add the quote... ;(- BMARKB1963

Best OPAMP upgrade for the Matrix M-Stage
I just purchased the Matrix M-Stage DAC, having purchased the Matrix M-Stage AMP last month and am now considering upgrading the opamp. I have found a few listings for the OPA627AP/BP & OPA637BP having the biasing mod. I also spotted the LM4562 as is or on a dip adaptor. If I go with the...- BMARKB1963
