I've used foobars Replaygain on some "unaltered" files of mine now, and tried to remove it right after. Replaygain is still there, and it seems the files really have been permanently altered.

I'm using Apple Music for listening, and "Metadatics" for organization (renaming, changing meta-info etc.) I just checked out foobar2000 and removed the replaygain, but it seems, that foobar just removes the "tag", yet the file stays 'quiet' and modified?
