Glad your enjoying those cans the bass is insane I also second the comment about the hornet being the best paired with the Darth Vaders brings out the mids and highs without overdoing the bass.

I agree the headphone out on SB3 is quite bad. Lacks bass and overall weight the highs are somewhat there. Just tried this with hd650 as I am waiting for the mpx3 slam to come in the mail.

I'm thinking of selling the E5c and pre-ordering the E-500 has anyone listened to both and can offer there opinion or any specs between the two?

Anyone know how they compare to the shure e5c not specs mind you, but have actually tried both. I here that they are not going to discontinue them but I do expect a big drop in price on the e5c.
