TH900 suffers from lack of detail? this is a joke right?

The th600 is not similar to thx00. And the forum you quoted/posted also said the d7200 is more in the sound of d7100 than the denon/fostex line. Price does not dictate how a headphones sound especially when the d7100 came out at a ridiculous price for the sound

Is the top end model, the HP3 semi-open or open? Will it leak as much as, say the HD800?

is the sound signature reminiscent of the fostex/denon family or is it far removed from that? maybe give a comparison with headphones you've heard before?

Fostex th610/shure srh1540...the bass on t5p just feels less full after you've listened to either of the 2...depends on what signature you like

I don't know how much you can stretch your budget but you're pretty much describing the Fostex TH610. They're $499 from amazon

thanks for the info...looks like I'll have to jump on the EMUs on the next drop...anyone heard the AKG k872?...info seems pretty scarce...I was about to pounce on the Pandoras but the comfort and build quality issues seems rather dodgy...not something I would want to deal with...
