@ron spencer The problem with this hobby is "upgraderitis". There is always something to spend on. With tubes, you have a good rectifier upgrade that was a no brainer. For the power tubes, the ones mentioned are a bit more uncertain. Again, you can always buy some ones that don't need adapters...

Yup....I ended up with a FiiO M11 Plus LTD and it is so far ahead of what the Wave would have ever been. The whole name change thing is entertaining though!

What case is everything in?

They have been doing this for months now...the case even longer. Design, redesign, rinse, and repeat. It is just a delay tactic to buy time. Soon another summer will have come and gone with nothing to show for it. Hopefully the antenna is gold plated.

For sales...LHL was always focused on sales...not so much on the ability to produce anything. Obviously the incentives were set up in a perverse way. IGG is also responsible for this.

This implies that most, if not all, updates on RCs and/or production or ability to produce were just wishful thinking or just plain made up. I can see that being the case. They should have refunded years ago when they were able, but perhaps "normal" sales bonuses got in the way.
