Audez'e LCD-2 design update
Has anyone noticed the update to the main LCD-2 photo on Audeze's front page? It's been updated, and seems to show what's been discussed here - a different wood and the angled connector (although here instead of chrome, it appears black... which looks much better IMHO). All in all it looks...- bgstern

I've uploaded some photos I took from the meet. Too many to post inline so I put them here on Flickr. And thank you for organizing this Gil, it was nice to see you again! And thank you to FPE for hosting the event and giving the fascinating tour of your facilities. Very well done!- bgstern

SEATTLE MEET @ FRONT PANEL EXPRESS 1/21/2012
My new setup I put together last year is a Burson HA-160 and Audio-Gd DAC-19 DF. Still the same Senn HD580 cans. Shall I bring? Never brought a setup to a meet before. Do I need to bring my own power strips or are they provided? Anything else I need to consider?- bgstern

Which Sennheiser?
Do a Search in the forum for "impedance" and you'll get lots of good info. Here's a good one I found: Explaining Heaphone Impedance and Sensitivity and what it means. - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio In a nutshell, if you're not going to be getting a headphone...- bgstern

Which Sennheiser?
I think they're a pretty good value, although if you're looking at a low impedance phone like the 595, it's not necessary. I own a Bithead, and I like it a lot. It's a value amp/DAC, so don't expect major sonic improvements, but you should notice some. For me the greatest use for the Bithead is...- bgstern

Which Sennheiser?
In general, an open headphone will allow a lot of sound from the environment in, and will leak a lot of what you're listening to out. A closed headphone will typically have more isolation from the environment and will leak less sound out. In terms of sound quality, open headphones are typically...- bgstern
