I had this same problem but after a few days more it stopped working altogether. Thanks to a complaint in this forum I received a replacement which has been working fine so far.

Wouldn’t be surprised. So many reports of problems with this device. I wonder if they are rethinking it. My first one stopped working after a few days. The replacement has been fine so far. I hope it carries on!

I had the same problem. Fiio contacted me through this forum and ordered a replacement. So far the second unit is working well. As you say, the sound is really good when it works. I hope my new one continues to work. Perhaps they had a quality control problem with the first batch of units.

Update2 - Fiio are kindly sending out a replacement. Will review when it gets here!

Quick update. Fiio got in touch on this forum and have offered to find a solution. That's nice! Will post an update if this gets resolved, and a review of a working unit, if and when I get one.
