Cayin N3Pro DAP: Dual AK4493 and MQA with Vacuum Tube

rather weirdly ..my N3Pro has also recently decided to not enter OTG mode when i connect to laptop ..or my cellphone. It was working faultlessly until a day or so ago .... soon as plugged in it would enter OTG mode and the micro sd would become visible on my laptop/cellphone. Now it enters OTG...

Cayin N3Pro DAP: Dual AK4493 and MQA with Vacuum Tube

I'm assuming you have an actual sd card fitted? ...not the plastic blank that they ship with.... if so, try swiping down on the display and check that USB is not set to 'DAC' .. unlikely it would have shipped like that but you never know..

Cayin N3Pro DAP: Dual AK4493 and MQA with Vacuum Tube

So.. I have just upgraded my original N3 to an N3Pro a day or so ago - right now it is burning in but from the start it sounds great. IMO the N3 was actually a tough act to follow! A couple of things I have moticed straight away tho . 1. The album art often only seems to show for the first 5...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

i think you are much confused my friend .... an RCA is what you probably know as a phono connector .... and SPDIF is a protocol for transfer of digital audio. So ..digital output on many devices is via SPdif ... and an RCA connector. The Cayin usb-c to RCA coaxial cable terminates in an RCA...

    Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread

is it actually possible for the ZS6's to suffer driver flex? ...given that the shells appear to be vented - thus preventing any pressure build up?

    Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread

goodday fellow KZ followers ... I have been enjoying my ZS6's for a little while now ... partnered with my Cayin N3 they are punchy, crisp, clear and detailed...and VERY enjoyable. The hf response is to my liking ...but as I'm not a young man this is probably a result of my somewhat diminished...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

im guessing you mean the capacitive buttons ... cos the screen isnt a touch screen. but..in any case ... those capacitive buttons are super sensitive and Im having a few problems getting used to them. Very easy to hit the upper one of the pair when trying for the lower one ... so ..causes chaos...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

i actually changed the filter to slow when I first received the N3...after I remembered a post sometime ago mentioning it. This was before I listened to it at all. But I quickly figured out that slow seemed dull and muffled ...sharp was much more to my liking .... like I said ..my hf hearing...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

Another thing I must say .... the missus and I both have modern-ish cellphones that use usb-c ..so we have a plethora of usb-c cables floating around the house. So ...with a decent cable...and a little OTG usb-c to female usb-a adaptor ... i connected N3 to my Galaxy phone ...and loaded up the...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

hi gLer .... thanks for the welcome. Yes ..i certainly am realising that, for the money...this N3 is a beauty. My little Benjie T6 is a great entry level player..heck its less than $40 in some places ..but inevitably severe compromises were made with component quality and SQ suffers as a result...

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150

hi all .... i have been looking to upgrade my little Benjie T6 to something a little more polished & refined and have been subscribed & lurking this thread for a few weeks now. Inevitably ... and really as a direct result of this thread ...and the support given by AndyKong and others, I decided...

The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker

i cant comment on the SQ compared to anything else ..... but the BT implementation seems stable to me. I've paired my T6 with a few different BT receivers ..iems..full size 'phones..BT speakers..and it has paired and re-paired quickly & easily without any bother. Although I only tested it one...

The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker

Its not surprising that there is confusion surrounding which model is actually being sold. If the manufacturer themselves dont acknowledge a difference...then any retailer is not likely to either. It is probably down to little more than a sharp-eyed retailer ..who happens to notice that his...

The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker

the Mk2 does look as if it might be wider...but..its an illusion because of the bevelled edge ... they are exactly the same size .....I'll try another pic ..lol 100% ....exactly the same size ..

The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker

Not that I am aware of ..... but I'm not really placed to know. Doesnt seem to be any mention of a Mk2 on their website but as I say ... from what I can tell its just the case that is different so calling it a Mk2 is perhaps a bit much. Sonically they sound identical to my ears ...
