Just want to add another thing I got my Audio Technica AD700X today and i know they mean by the Sennheiser 'veil'

i tried it, well the sound does stay dead center for 90% of the test, but towards the end it sweeps from right to left and vice versa but this happens with all my 3 headphones HD518, HD6XX, AD700X and not just the 6XX

Maybe this is just in my head, but is this likely? I feel my left channel is underperforming as compared to the right channel. I dont hear any distortion or buzzing as such. Is it likely or is it only in my head?

I've had the R2R-11 for a couple months now. And just want to confirm that the popping issue is completely gone from the USB but it's still there to a small extent on optical, barely noticeable though.

Is it only me or is it true that the R2R11 sounds better off the optical than on USB?

Will the NFB-11 pair well with the DT990s? I own a pair of HD6XXs, just looking to expand the spectrum of sound signature. The HD6XX being warm, will the bright DT990s be a good addition to my collection?

It's interesting what you point out. Should I wait for it to burn in properly then. It barely has about 25 hrs of use so far. Can burning in really make that much of a difference in quality?

I got the R2R for 350 USD, and am willing to spend that much again. I did consider the stack before buying the R2R. However I hear that the QC and customer support for Schiit isn't great so I decided against it, particularly because I'm not in the US.
