Hello, Which one do you think is better, as from what there is in stores nearby, I have to chose either between Aune B1 + FiiO E10K as a dac, or Aune X1s as an amp/dac. What i am curious about is if someone knows the difference in quality between the B1 and the X1s and if FiiO is a good DAC...

I'm suspecting a really fat soundcard will cost 3x more than a 3x better than it, dacamp. My experience with them made me conclude that, now if anyone has money to throw at it and prove it wrong then, congrats, what can I say :)

Get yourself a dac/amp thing as they're much better than sound cards. I've bought 2 sound cards and I ended up getting a DAC, after all as soundcards are simply not good enough for real headphones like yours there. They distort and don't reveal much, they simply are crap, no matter what sound...

He can get the 770 32 ohm, I own them, they're very good sounding and you can power them without an amp.  Under 50.. I don't know what you can get.    Though, maybe you should take a look at the akg k52, k72 and k92. They should be good, by reviews, as I never tried them so can;t say for sure...

You could also try the audiotechnica ath fc707. Cheap, sounds good, portable and closed.

OK, I found out. The dt 990 is superior to akg k240. The 240 only does voices better but everything else lacks compared to the dt 990.
