V-dac modifications
For output stage I am suing 2xSuperTeddyRegs +/-15V, all is powered from 30VA toroid and rectified through shotky bridges and CRCRC (3x2200uF, 2x5R) filter/capacitor banks. Also one 0.47uF each rail. If you're planing to power output stage and DSD1792 (5V) than you don't need to cut the...- barmanekm

V-dac modifications
It won't damage circuit, but if your amplifier (pre/integrated) has low input impedance you will get very audible distortions in the low frequencies, or you may even lost your bass sound at all.- barmanekm

V-dac modifications
Hi, I am using Two SuperTeddyRegs for power up analog stage. You can find schematic of STR on Teddy Pardo's website. In my case they are feed from separate transformer. Dc-DC converter is not used any more. The improvement was much bigger then all other capacitor changes, opamp swaping and and...- barmanekm

V-dac modifications
Try OPA627BP in second stage (you need browndog adapter), and maybe LME49740 on first one. I am actually running 2xOPA1612 on first stage and LME49860 on second, but I am aiming to neutral and transparent sound. Analog stage in my V-DAC is powered by two independent SuperTeddyRegs at +/-17V. It...- barmanekm

V-dac modifications
Hi I did some reverse engineering and have full schematic of this DAC. But without most of the values, as I did not need them. Schematic is little bit messy as I did not clean it up but again it was not necessary for my needs. I was just redesigning output stage (not only changing op-amps, but...- barmanekm
