Westone has replied and asked me to send my um3x over. I'll keep my finger crossed. On a side note, anyone has similar problems? The problem seems to be intermittent; most of the time it's good, but once in a while it fails me.

Left side is producing much louder sound than the right side. I've lost my receipt but still have my warranty card with me. Considering that the UM3X has been out for less than a year, will westone still honor my warranty? Anyone had experience in this matter?

I do find his reviews pretty detailed and helpful. But with everything scoring so high, its hard for me to discern the good from the bad.

Sometimes I do question the biasedness of the reviews posted here and on tpu. Seems like most expensive headphones/iems (>$250) posted on tpu receivedat least an 8 out of 10 from the reviewer. Makes me wonder sometimes, where did all the lousy headphones/iems go?

I'm particularly interested in how the EF1 performs with a HD650.. but it seems like few people have this combination

i use a banana hanger.. there are lots on amazon.com that make great headphone stands

Too bad though.. The Denons look way superior and classier compared to the HD650, which looks kinda old-fashioned IMO

i'd go with hd650 too.. i havent heard of anyone complaining about the Denon ah-d2000, but mine sounds a bit sibilant with some tracks

From what I've gathered, the D2000 is pretty popular here. On the contrary, the DT770 is not. I'm really curious about the differences that set these two cans apart, given that they both are closed-back and have heavy bass. Anyone have any insight on this?
