Porcupine Tree - Did you appreciate them on first listen?
Porcupine Tree has been a very phasic band for me. I first got into them around 2003 when I heard The Sound of Muzak on the internet. I was instantly hooked and proceed to buy as much PTree as I could. I enjoy their newer works (Stupid Dream forward) more than their older, psychedelia-influenced... -
Westone UM1 vs Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 - Which to buy?
I'm pretty sure the OP has made his/her choice, as this thread is originally from 2008. To add, I would say the SF3 is not very good for bass-oriented music. I would say that for bass impact, something with a dynamic driver would be more suitable for this type of application.- BABankert

Serious Help Needed Please
If you're honestly that worried about it, the S4s are a great bet for the price - I have hands-on experience with these bad boys and they are wonderful for the price. If you're having some second thoughts about spending the money, go with the S4s. Go read some of the reviews of both the S4 and...- BABankert

Serious Help Needed Please
You have 2 days to make any changes. That's kinda tight for time. If I were you I'd give the X10s their fair shot, seeing as they are (reportedly - I have no personal experience with them) great phones. Worst comes to worst you can sell them when you get back from your trip.- BABankert

RE2 broke, Suggestions? [80 USD]
The Klipsch Image S4 is a little above your price range in Europe (£61.24), but it is worth consideration due to your want of additional bass. Search and read some of the reviews. After some use, they clean up nicely and have great bass (and all-around sq) for the price.- BABankert
