    Philips Fidelio X2?!

I have the K5 Pro and it's been amazing so far. That little thing has so much power it feels it can power anything. Performance is also spot on, with great soundstage, clinical imaging, fat bass but detailed and sparkling and clear trebles. I haven't tested much expensive dac and amps, but I...

No, they are not saying Amirm measurements are a joke. Just that the procedure doesn't take in account the adjustable volume of LO of K5 Pro. Because of that, the results are worse than expected. But there is no joke in Amirm's method. He has a standardized way to measure DAC's and AMPs of any...

    Philips Fidelio X2?!

I tried Brainwavz XL and they are too big for X2s, they rotate and wiggle all the time and can be detached with ease, sometimes even when removing the headphones from your head. Regarding material, I prefer Micro Suede. They provide a touch of sub-bass while not being as bassy as hybids, and...

    Philips Fidelio X2?!

Loxjie D20 has an output impedance of +20ohms, and I've seen people reporting even higher values for P20 amp. Such high values never work well with low impedance headphones like the X2, as they modify frequency response and bass reproduction. No wonder you can feel a difference.

I also have a dac, SMSL M3. There is a difference vs mobo (alc 1150), mostly in bass control and definition. But difference is rather small, it's not like night and day. Current mobos and inbuilt dacs are quite decent, it's not like 10-15 years ago where even a 50-70 bucks pcie soundcard was a...

My YG headband also broke last year and I got a free replacement of the TMA-2 version. y You should try for the replacement as you'll get for free the S04 driver, E05 earpads and a custom H71 headband which is the same as the original YG one (they give you voucher codes that make the items...

I have the e4 and e5 pads (paired with s4). - E4 has more presence on the mid low frequencies and a deeper sound (more whoom whoom). E5 has less overall bass. - High mids and low trebles are more pronounced in the E5, making it warmer.  - Both are pretty equal on highs. Also, E4 isolates...

Nice combos there!!!   One thing, how are the new leather over eear pads compared to original YG? I have the original YG and the new leather over ear are very interesting ( mainly better noise isoation).

Well, after nearly 2.5 years, my headband got broken.   I have enjoyed them a lot, taking them to NY, London and even to a cruise through Greek Islands. Time for a new experience, but since they've been my first hifi headsets, I've bought the Studio Young Guru version, which I find better...
